This year I took a cue from my colleague Richard Aaron and decided to have a weekly Technique Class for my students. It has been EYE-OPENING for all involved to do this on a regular basis, and in front of a group of peers. (Think: standing up in front of your colleagues and laying down scales, arpeggios, spiccato, fingered octaves) Stay tuned for some anecdotes and lessons learned. Let's just say for now, double stops are happening.
